Updating Your College Decor with Walmart

Now that I leave for school in less than a month (!!!), I've finally started thinking about how my roomies and I are going to be decorating our quad room in the Delta Gamma house. Let's be real, nothing gets me more excited about going back to school than decorating a new space! I'm still planning to use my Lilly Pulitzer bedding that I bought last year, but I want to tone it down a bit with some neutral accents. While I don't need to buy a bunch of new things, I wanted to find a few inexpensive additions to freshen up the look and make it a bit more grown up. Lucky for me (and you!), I recently realized that Walmart has some awesome college decor that's cute, preppy and perfect for a girl on a budget! They have an awesome selection of pieces like pillows and throws from the Better Homes and Gardens collection that I especially love. Check out some of my favorites below!

As you can tell, I'm really into the gray and white look - isn't it just so classic and pretty?! It will go perfectly with my bold bedding and I'll be able to use it all in the future no matter what bedding I end up with. And let's just talk about this monogram pillow for a second, shall we? For $16, you'd be crazy not to buy one (or ten). Their selection of monogram pillows is something I never knew existed, and I can't wait to get one!

After I get home from a vacation with family and one with friends, I can't wait to do some shopping and pick up some goodies before I move into the house!
