Outfit: White Ruffles + Pearls

Even though I miss school (well, mostly just my friends :) like crazy, it feels pretty great to be home. I'm finally able to get some actual rest, get ahead on homework and of course, finally sit down and do some blogging! I've missed it so, so much and couldn't be more excited to have some free time to write a bunch of posts for you guys. First up: a fun outfit perfect for the holiday season! I've been crazy obsessed with this fun ruffle top ever since it came in the mail and I can't wait to get some wear out of it this week. It's almost like the layers of a Christmas tree - don't you think? I love how simple and pretty yet exciting it is at the same time. Of course, I had to pair it with my new pearl jewelry from the Pearlfection Collection from Kiel James Patrick. This necklace has quickly become an everyday staple for me because it adds the perfect touch of preppy to whatever I'm wearing. And just when I thought a KJP bracelet couldn't get better, they added a monogram charm to their new Champagne bracelet and I couldn't be more in love. It's so weird to actually wear real clothes after having lived in leggings and oversized tees for so long at school!

Have you seen KJP's new pieces lately? They launched a bunch of fun new things!

  1. I love that top! So cute and preppy! I'm getting some serious Melania Trump vibes from it haha (Do you know what dress I'm talking about?) Glad you finally have some time to rest! I just finished a final lab report and am leaving Chicago on the Amtrak back to Milwaukee! I still have a paper to write when I get back home though! (I'm on the quarter system at DePaul so we have out finals week right now!)
