Friday Fours

I say it a lot, but this week I especially mean it: what. a. week. Lots of things went awry but as a whole, it ended up being quite a fun past few days! Hear about it all below :)

::one::
Last night we flew home from Indiana and it was pretty much a disaster to say the least. Oddly enough, there is no direct flight from Milwaukee to Indianapolis (which would be less than an hour in duration, mind you) so we had to have a layover in Chicago. Our first flight was delayed nearly two hours because of "maintenance" so we were 20 minutes late for our next flight. Luckily, my recent running streak (haha #jokes) helped me get to the next gate just in time for them to hold it for us after it was scheduled to leave. All in all it worked out and I ended up getting some extra cardio, but I highly recommend driving the five hours instead!!

Travel nightmares aside, I had such a great time at freshman orientation! Although I was completely wiped out by the end of day 1, it feels so good to have all my classes scheduled and to have met some new friends! If you have the choice, definitely go to orientation the earliest you can because a lot of the classes I wanted to take were already full!

::three::
I also got to take a tour of my residence hall and it was so, so nice to be able to see what my dorm is going to look like! The closet space was a lot bigger than I imagined so that's definitely a plus :) Seeing where I'm going to be living and eating made it so real and now I'm even more excited for move in!

::four::
This weekend I have a crazy busy schedule at work because there is a big festival where my store sets up a booth! 100,000 people come each year and last year I monogrammed over 250 cups for customers. Needless to say, I'm going to have to find some comfortable footwear for the next 3 days! Although it's nuts, working this festival is actually so much fun.

What are you up to this weekend?
xoxo
