What a week. Do you ever feel like you don't even go to bed at night because you're so busy from the time you wake up to the moment you go to sleep, and then you do it all over again? Like you're constantly working and going places? That was basically my week in a nutshell and while I like being busy, it's making my remaining weeks as a senior fly by so fast! Here's what I've been up to this week:

OMG. I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a pair of Stan Smiths and let me tell you, they are seriously life changing. A lot of girls wear them at my school and at first I was hesitant because I didn't think they were my style, but I'm happy to report that they are the cutest upgrade from the normal white Converse.
Last Friday night Fran and one of my friends from school went to the best Mexican restaurant in a fun area of town and then headed to Whole Foods after for dessert. Let's just say, lots of chocolate cake and cookies were consumed in a very short period of time! And being the citrus lover I am, I had to resist test tasting alll of the oranges.

Can you believe April is half way done already?! I only have 9 days of classes left (!!!) before AP exams and final projects and papers are due. We just got all the information regarding brunches, the infamous senior send off and of course graduation, and it's so weird to think everything is ending so quickly!

This week has been absolutely nuts in terms of homework, projects and tests. My capstone project presentation is Monday (aka my year-long project on creating a business plan for my blog) and I have to have my 15 minute presentation pretty much memorized. I feel good about it right now but with little sleep because of prom, I'll have to have it down to a t. Also, isn't it funny how teachers always seem to schedule tests for the same day? I swear there's an assessment in every class within the next 3 days!
As if I couldn't have enough going on, prom is also this weekend! I'm wearing one of my all-time favorite Lilly Pulitzer dresses because most seniors opt to wear short instead of long gowns. Look out for a recap early next week!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Wow, you're busy! This year is flying by! Have the BEST weekend and good luck on your presentation :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your comment about feeling like you never sleep, I'm a junior and feel the same way! Good luck with everything going on and I hope you have a blast at prom, I'm so excited for mine next week! Your Indiana sticker on your laptop is so cute too!
