Friday Fours

Happy Friday! Was it just me, or was this week endless? I definitely thought Monday was Tuesday, Tuesday was Wednesday, and so on... Luckily, the (long!) weekend is almost here and I'm so excited to get in some extra sleep and relaxation. I ended up extending my cleanse for another week (14 days total) and am so excited to have a big waffle with whipped cream on Monday morning - I've craved it more than anything! A stop for some frozen custard might be necessary as well :)

Being a second semester senior is so weird... Rather than having to wear our usual white button downs every day, we are able to wear colored ones, and now patterned ones too! It sounds like a small privilege, but it seriously makes such a big difference while getting ready in the morning. It may also be a reason to add another gingham shirt to my collection!

My homework load was pretty light this week, so you could find me doing this many nights while curled up with a blanket (and some pears because they're my new obsession, omg).

::three::
On the same note, I've been trying to get back into reading books I'm interested in (rather than for school) since I've been having more time at night. Any recommendations would be welcome in the comments below!

Even though my cleanse is ending, I'm planning on my healthy ways for the weeks to come, but in a less restricting way. My problem is when I'm bored at night and am in the mood for a snack (which usually ends up turning into a pre-bedtime feast). Lately, though, I've been enjoying fruit at night which cures my sugar craving but also fills me up so I eat less. I'm trying to get into drinking tea at night as well, even though I can't seem to get past the taste!

I hope you all enjoy your long weekend - what are you up to?
I'm seeing a movie tonight, going to a hockey game tomorrow, having a celebratory brunch for the end of the cleanse Monday and squeezing in lots of blogging and sleep in between!
xoxo
