A College Announcement :)

Happy Monday! Today I'm so excited to make the long anticipated announcement (on my end especially) about where I'll be going to college next fall. I've known where I'd be going since October and fell head over heels with the school the minute I stepped onto the campus. I waited to hear back from other schools to be sure about my decision, but I finally made it official that I'll be going tooooo...

...Indiana University!

I can't even tell you how excited I am to finally know where I'm going to be spending the next four years! I'll be majoring in Marketing in the Kelley School of Business and minoring in Apparel Merchandising, two of my biggest passions. One of the main reasons I chose IU is because of the incredible business school as well as the awesome fashion program. Many of the smaller schools I considered had great business schools, but the fashion they had was often design rather than the consumer/ business side that I wanted. I discovered that if I wanted this specific of a program, I needed a big school, so it was a natural choice for me! 

I looked at so many wonderful schools over the past two years, but what it really came down to was the feeling I got at IU. Even though I love visiting fun places like the East Coast, the Midwest just feels like my place and I would hate to leave it for college. The hustle and bustle on campus, the charming limestone buildings, the sample gates at the entrance... It felt so homey yet new and exciting and I knew ever since I first toured junior year that I would end up there (isn't it weird how that happens?). 

I'm so excited to call Indiana University home and can't wait for the excitement of the next 4 years to begin! Look out for a whole bunch of college preparation posts like some dorm decoration ideas coming soon :)
