White Jeans for Fall

 For some reason, I really haven't been able to let my white jeans go this fall. Even though I wore mostly shorts this entire summer, there was something about donning a pair of white skinny jeans as the leaves began to change that made me reeeally not want to put them away. I could get away with it in September but now that we've hit October, I feel a little summery wearing them once and a while when everyone else has transitioned to dark wash jeans and corduroys. However, I have seen lots of pretty outfits on Pinterest (follow me here!) that make white jeans look totally acceptable to wear this time of year, and I think I am finally realizing that they can totally be worn with the right thing, even if we are in the middle of October. 

There are definitely a few pieces that I think are necessary to get away with wearing white jeans during the fall. The first is a neutral sweater, and an especially chunky one is always a good way to go. Navy, tan, gray or brown are great colors to try and help create an overall neutral and relaxed vibe. A hot pink sweater, for example, would bring a lot of attention to the outfit and make it a lot more summery looking. The second piece is some sort of boot or bootie. I used to think it was odd to wear a fall boot with a pair of summer pants, but I've recently fallen in love with a rich chocolate brown boot with a contrasting white skinny jean. Finally, the third piece is a tan leather accent like a belt or bag. Nothing says fall quite like a creamy, tan leather piece and a tote or belt really pulls it together to give off a super cozy look.
