4 Fall Shoe Essentials

I thought I would spice things up with a different sort of outfit post today. I've been on this huge shopping kick lately (what else is new) and new items for fall have definitely been on my mind, especially shoes! Every season, there seem to be 3 or 4 pairs of shoes that I always gravitate towards, and I can already tell which ones will be my favorites for this upcoming season. See my picks below!

+ Tan Booties
Whenever I want to feel a little more dressed up when I'm wearing a casual outfit, opting for a heeled bootie is always the best way to go. There's nothing better than wearing an oversized sweater, skinny jeans and a great bootie, don't you think? I definitely love the tan pair but a darker chocolate brown or black are fun too.

+ Fun Loafers
For me, plain loafers are a bit boring and remind me too much of a school girl vibe. I prefer a pair that is a little more exciting, such as this striped pair #navyornothing. I love the kinds that spell out a cute word or phrase (like these!) or have a unique pattern.

+ White Tennies
White sneakers are always an essential staple in my book, but for fall especially they look so perfect with a pair of skinny jeans and a button down or a sweater. If I'm wearing a darker outfit with navys and browns or grays, a bright pop of white is so crisp and fun!

+ Boat Shoes 
Even though they seem more summery, boat shoes seem to pair so well with a comfy cable knit sweater around the beginning of fall. I adore the rich, brown color of the shoes and think they are a great investment for all seasons.
