Outfit: Chambray Dress + POC

Whenever I wear a topknot, I feel like I have a big rock on top of my head....  Does anyone else feel this way? It always looks messy (not the cute kind for me, unfortunately), lopsided and like I'm trying too hard. So why do I continue to wear them, and occasionally in public? I honestly have no idea haha! Sometimes I'm just in a topknot sort of mood I guess. Anyyyway, onto the actual outfit! I bought this dress a year or two ago from J.Crew Factory and for some reason, it never seems to leave my closet until the spring. There's something about the warming temperatures that make me want to break out all of my dresses, and this one is no exception! Pair it with a fun POC (pop of color!) like the scarf, layer a few fun bracelets and you're good to go. In my mind, this is the perfect spring outfit to transition into the warmer months.

Are you wanting to wear dresses 24/7 now that it's warmer outside?

  3. I love this look, Caroline! I'm all for anything chambray. I always wear a top knot when I'm too lazy to do my hair. It's taken a lot of time, but I've perfected it. Keep at it! Lol.

  7. I'm with you on the lack of ease in the top knot department - too much effort for the "effortless" look. Love the pop of color idea with the chambray!
