It's Friday! **Cue the happy dance** Even though I have a busy weekend ahead of me (hint: lots and lots of studying), I'm so excited to have a little time to recuperate after this long week. There's only one more off day this school year, so the final stretch of junior year is really here. You may have noticed that some of my posts have been a bit shorter than usual, and while I definitely don't want to stop blogging until summer arrives, you may notice a few shorter posts here and there. I love blogging too much to not post at least four times a week, but I just thought I would let you know in case a really busy week happens and my usual amount of posts aren't up. I hope you can understand!! Don't worry though, I have tons of fun content coming up for Spring and Summer! Now, onto this week....
Like I've mentioned on social media, the ACT is on Saturday. I've been preparing like crazy and am feeling more and more confident as the day approaches. Test taking is definitely not my strong suit, so I really have to work at both the material and strategizing. Good luck to everyone else taking it Saturday as well!
After all the stresses of junior year are over, summer will be here and that means one thing: the Smart Girls Group conference! There are two different ones this year, one in New York City and one in Chicago, and I'm so thrilled to be attending both! It was seriously such an incredible experience to be able to go meet tons of girls I've chatted with over the past year or so, and I can't even wait to be able to go again. Let me know if you're attending either one because I'd love to meet you!
A fresh pair of pajamas is the best mood lifter, wouldn't you say? There's nothing like taking a warm shower, putting on a new pair of pjs and sliding under the sheets of your bed. I've acquired a few new pajama pieces this year and have really been loving them - are you guys interested in a post about it?
And since I failed as a blogger on social media this week, here's a repeat from the archives :) Lately, I've been trying to work on my fitness and nutrition. It's gotten out of control and I have been sweeping it under the rug, focusing on studying or socializing instead. Buut, with prom and exams approaching, I need to be in tip top shape so I look and feel my best! This coming week, I'm going to be making a few changes to my routine: drinking more water (preferably with lemon...), working out once a day and getting as much sleep as possible. Hopefully doing these things will make me feel even better!
