After reading my friend Chloe's recent post about the "black hole" we call the Internet, I thought I too would share some things I've come across lately that I think are worth sharing with you! (P.S. Because of the rather bitterly cold weather these past few weeks, outfit posts have been pretty hard to photograph. Don't worry though, I have a bunch of fun ones planned that will be shot during my two trips in the next 2 weeks, so stay tuned!)
+ Lacoste X J.Crew
Have you seen J.Crew's newly released collaboration with Lacoste? Every prepster's dream has finally come true with these two classic brands' new line!
+ Style tips from Olivia Palermo
Who isn't obsessed with fashionista Olivia Palermo and her uber stylish wardrobe? Here are some modern style lessons from the Parisian chic socialite who is definitely "a walking Pinterest board of ladylike style".
+ Quick workouts
With tests, projects and papers popping up everywhere this week, having a few fast workouts on hand is always super helpful. Whether you're wanting to target your abs, arms, legs, or simply shred a few calories (this one is my favorite for an easy calorie burner!), shorter workouts are the perfect way to get your blood pumping without having to trek to the gym. Check out my Fitness board on Pinterest for lots of ideas!
+ Blog Crush
Besides writing my own, I absolutely love reading other people's blogs, especially fashion ones. A somewhat recent find of mine is A Lonestar State of Southern by the most precious girl named Kate. She attends the University of Texas and has the best eye for fun, southern style that I know you'll love. Not to mention, she is one of the sweetest people ever - you can tell the instant you talk to her! Definitely check out her blog if you're wanting a new read.
+ Amy Stone's apartment with Domino
Continuing on the whole girl power bandwagon, the lovely apartment of Amy Stone was recently featured in Domino magazine, and let me tell you, you need to see this. Not only is her quaint, West Village place the perfect representation of her aesthetic, but the photography is just stunning as well. She has made quite the name for herself and I am so excited to see her become even more successful!
Let's be real: taking a break from homework usually entails some sort of Internet exploration that ends up leaving me a whole lot inspired. Are there any things/ articles/ people you've found lately that you love?
