Summer Snaps

Instagram has become one of my favorite social media apps to use, but with that love comes my perfectionism (#guilty). I take pictures of all different things, but many times these photos don't always make the cut for my feed. (We could probably blame my need to maintain a specific color scheme 24/7, oops!) Anyway, today I thought it would be fun to go beyond my Instagram and share some fun snapshots of my summer so far, since it's almost half over already! A nice little needed twist to my usual Friday Fours, don't you think? ;)

How perfect is this Banana Republic necklace? It's such a gorgeous statement piece and it really makes me consider purchasing it or another monochromatic one like it! Check out some other fun pieces from Banana Republic here (who knew they had such a cute jewelry selection?!)

A peek at our all too frequent brunching (note to self: cut back on the crepes). Being in New York definitely doesn't help the dangerous brunch habits Fran and I have developed!

Oh goodness, speaking of dangerous, I've been downing lemon and orange San Pellegrinos like nobody's business lately. They seem to be sold at lots of cafes and coffee shops near my house so instead of my normal water with lemon, I've been treating myself to these delicious citrusy drinks. A little unhealthier than water but so worth it!

I've been so busy lately that I have barely had any time to stop at the mall (shocker, right?). I ran the other day for their Summer Fridays event and munched on yummy cookies, sipped on sparking water and shopped to my heart's content. They had one of the best deal's ever and I scored a navy schoolboy blazer for only $50 instead of the normal $198! Since I have to wear one to school in the winter, I stock up on basic uniform essentials whenever I can, and this helps both my uniform and weekend wardrobe.

I'm so sad to leave New York today but I can't wait to update you on all my adventures next week!
Have a great weekend everyone ;)
xoxo,
cYa

  4. Lemon & orange San Pellegrino are my absolute favorites! They're basically all I drink in the summer besides water! Huberts Lemonade is also a great treat to have on hot summer days!
