After planning my New York trip nearly 6 months ago, I can't believe Monday is finally the day I jet set off to the big city! I've been thinking about this trip for so long and it really hasn't even hit me yet. We have so many fun things planned on the agenda (including the Smart Girls Summit of course) and can't wait to share our adventures with you all! So far the things Fran and I are planning on doing are: shopping at C.Wonder, grabbing ice cream in the West Village, indulging in macarons at Laduree, having brunch at August and chatting with bloggers at the conference, among so many others. If you have any other must see places for us, please comment below or tweet me @citrusandstyle! I absolutely love hearing your ideas and since this is my first time to the city (and the East Coast, can you believe it?), I could use all the help I can get. Eek I get excited just talking about it!
I hope you all had a great 4th of July ;)
Now keep those recommendations coming!
And if you'll be at the Summit, do tell me below!
xoxo,
cYa
I'm also going to the conference! Can't wait to meet you there! :)

Yay!! Have the most fun in New York City!! You'll love it there! I'll text you recommendations and such
ReplyDeleteHave an incredible time in the best city! Walk the High Line (an elevated park) and please, please go to Doughnut Plant for the most delectable doughnuts of your life (all are good, but I'd recommend the Coconut Cream and Creme Brulee...or if they have it as a special at the moment, the Coconut Lime). Doughnut Plant is located on 23rd, right off of 7th Ave. You can then walk to the High Line (walk west on 23rd to find the steps up to the park). Have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love NYC!! Have a wonderful time girl.

Hi! I'll also be attending the Summit and hope to meet you! I love NYC and definitely recommend Max Brenner for a very touristy dessert (but it's worth it because the chocolate is delish!) and Joe Fresh for some fun shopping.

I just came back from NYC last night! I highly recommend brunch at Jacks Wife Freda (SoHo), visiting the Met, high tea at the Plaza (try making reservations!), cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery, breakfast at Sarabeth's and trying rice pudding at Rice to Riches (strange, but tasty!) Enjoy your trip!
