So if you are like me, you may be shocked to see the title of this post. J.Crew has a "sister" store? I just found this out a while ago and it wasn't til a few days ago when I actually stopped in.
Introducing.... Madewell!
Madewell is basically a simpler and slightly less expensive version of J.Crew. (Read: less preppy, more bohemian) While I tend to steer away from boho like stores, I was shocked to see how crisp and fresh their clothes are! A bit refreshing to be completely honest!
After spending some time on their website (and in their gorgeous store...!) I have noticed that blues, whites and denims are really strong. Their clothes represent a flowy and fresher version of the infamous J.Crew.
I mean, just look at how beautiful it is!

If you are an avid follower of Design Darling like me, you may have noticed this post about a beyond pretty tank from Madewell. When I was at the store I picked up the tank (not knowing it was this one) and decided I could not live without it. It wasn't until later that I discovered it was the same one! Sadly I did not purchase it (the price tag was a bit high in my opinion) but am hoping to snatch it once it goes on sale and when I have some babysitting money saved up!
What's your opinion on Madewell?

Wow! I've always know heard of Madewell--but I didn't know it was J.Crew's Sister Store!

I just googled it and apparently there's one in my city! lol I checkout there stuff online is much more casual than J.crew but still nice!! Thanks for this post my even go check out at the actual store! :)
