Bathing suits on a budget

Hello darlings!

I hope you are having a fabulous weekend thus far ;)

Ugh this spring has been one of the worst in a long time. Super warm and foggy and then boom there's a blizzard. One day at my lacrosse practice it was hailing. Like, seriously?

But, it just makes me crave summer even more. I have a feeling it's going to be a great summer for everyone!

So.... I got super excited and decided to share some swimsuits with you.

Ok here's the deal. I am not a fan of spending $150 on one bikini. $78 for bikini bottoms? No thank you! As cute as J.Crew's bikinis are, they just aren't worth it. Plus, they will all fade and get greasy from sunscreen. And you could grow out of them! So why not get a few less expensive ones and buy a new one each year? Sounds like a plan to me ;)

Here are my bathing suits for a girl on a budget:

These selections are combined from Old Navy and Target. They are all around $20ish for one piece. Much more acceptable, don't ya think?

I am really loving the orange ruffley tie one from Old Navy! I mean it is too cute! Ruffles and stripes are so in this season and it's really fun to incorporate that into your swim suit.

Where do you find your bathing suits?
I'd love to get some new ideas!

  1. I usually get my bathing suits from old navy - they're wonderful! But last year I had a gift card to victoria's secret and got a bathing suit top and I absolutely love it! This year I bought one j.crew bathing suit, but only because it was on sale. hopefully the quality will be nice!

    1. Ooh keep me posted on the quality of the J.Crew one!! ;)

  2. I love buying my bathing suits at Target I find them with a nice quality and great prices :)
    xx Janice

  3. Thanks for posting such affordable options! It's a refreshing change from the typical J. Crew and stuff! I totally believe in being cute on a budget!
