Anthropologie Home at Nordstrom

I don't know whether it's the fact that my friends and I are looking for senior year housing or that I'm just so ready for spring, but I've had such a dangerous interior shopping bug lately. Home goods are one of my absolute favorite things to shop for because it's like a giant puzzle you're trying to piece together over time - I'm sure searching for bigger furniture like couches and tables is much more stressful, but little accents like pillows and throws are so fun! I came across Anthropologie's new line at Nordstrom and oh-my-goodness do I want to buy it all up and decorate an apartment. While I wouldn't consider Anthro's clothes to really be my style, I absolutely love their home products. They add such a fun and unique element to any space and really spice up more simple basics like bedding, couches, rugs, etc. I pulled together just a few of my many favorites from the line - you have to go check it out for yourself!

Are you as in love as I am?

Spring Break Recap

It's crazy that not only is spring break over, but that we only have a few weeks left until summer is here! My sophomore year of college has been one of my favorite years in terms of academics and friendships, and I really don't want it to end. It was nice to have a little break for a week though, and spend some extra time with my friends!

We left early Friday morning to head to our friend's house in a Chicago suburb, slept over there that night and then took the train to downtown Chicago on Saturday. I go to the city a lot with my family and friends from home, so going with a new group of people is a fun way to do different things! We shopped, had dinner at my favorite restaurant, Luxbar, and hopped on the train home that night.

Sunday morning, we all headed to the airport where my friend Emily and I headed to Arizona and everyone else went to different parts of Florida. It was the perfect way to get in some relaxation and sun while also having a little time all together too!

After 5 beautiful days hiking, eating, sunbathing and reading in Arizona, I flew home to surprise my brother for his 18th birthday. Having time with my friends, in the sun and then 3 days at home was seriously the perfect break because I was able to be with a bunch of different people and still relax!

Whenever your spring break is, I hope you enjoy some time off!

Look for Less: Shoes for Spring

Even though the weather just cooled down here (yet again), spring style is very much on my mind right now. Spring break is just around the corner so I'm in the mood to add some new footwear to my closet. Since I'm not wanting to spend $100 on a trendy shoe as a college student, I rounded up 3 awesome pairs with a less expensive dupe! These pairs are all perfect for transitioning into spring and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to snatch a pair of each :)

Espadrille Wedges // Target vs. Marc Fisher
Silver Mules // Target vs. Chinese Laundry
Suede Booties // Target vs. Vince Camuto

Which is your favorite?!

Friday Fours

Happy Friday! I've been so refreshed this week after having my mom here last weekend and have gotten so much done. We also had an awesome speaker come to my retail class yesterday and it was just the extra motivation I needed to power through the rest of the week.

::one::

We had the cutest Black & White dinner on Wednesday with our littles, but since the weather was gross here's a picture from our Big Little Reveal a few weeks ago! It was Friends themed and it was super fun designing the apparel for it. Meet my cutie little Maeve!!

::two::
I've been trying to expand my horizons when it comes to study spaces because I always find myself just ending up at the library since it's close to my house. Lately I've been going to our media school which has this huuge screen with tons of different news channels - it's such a productive environment and it's amazing how much more I can get done there!

::three::
The weather in Bloomington is so incredibly all over the place it's insane. Earlier this week it was 70 degrees and sunny, and then yesterday was a literal monsoon and 40 degrees. I'll take it though if it means we can get away with just wearing a tee in February!

::four::
This weekend is packed with events for initiation (including an amazing catered brunch that I'm already dreaming about), but I also have to get a lot done before we leave for spring break in a week. I have my Calc midterm on Tuesday which I'm already panicking about, so hopefully I can get most of that studying done this weekend!

What are you up to this weekend?
