Weekend Recap

Now that we're really getting down to the wire and freshman year is almost over, I've made it my personal mission to capture every moment. Whether it's a beautiful sunny day on campus or a funny memory with my roomie, I want to make sure I can scroll through my photo album months or even years from now and remember how much I loved my first year here at IU. This past weekend was one of those jam packed but super fun weekends where I took a bunch of photos, so for today's post I thought I would do a little weekend recap! 

On Friday  Meg came to tour IU and I was so excited we finally got to meet in person! It's so funny meeting blog friends (that you've only talked to over social media and text) in real life because 9 times out of 10 they're exactly how you would imagine them. Meg was no exception - she's just as adorable and sweet as I imagined! I had such a great time taking her to my classes and showing her some of my favorite spots on campus. 

Saturday we had our philanthropy event called Anchor Slam which is a big basketball tournament. The weather was so beautiful and my sisters and I had a blast cheering on the boys and watching from the roof above the court. 

Sunday morning my roomie had a little birthday brunch at the most delicious restaurant called Farm Bloomington. I had never been before but everyone raves about it for both brunch and dinner. As you can see by this picture, it did not disappoint! Highly recommend the biscuits (the apple butter was out of this world) and the parmesan fries for starters. 

I swear I fall more in love with this campus every day. People always say campus is the most beautiful in fall, but I think spring is a very close second. Flowers are being planted everywhere which adds so much color - not to mention it makes the air smell amazing.
