Ivy at the Shore

Sorry for the photo overload, but how gorgeous is Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica?! The Ivy in Beverly Hills was my favorite restaurant I had ever been to, so when Sammy wanted to go to lunch at the location by the beach, I didn't even think twice. Let me tell you, this location is even more beautiful (and pink!). Rather than floral plates like at the other restaurant, the Shore location has pineapple ones that are absolutely adorable. And of course, they have the same infamous pink, orange and yellow roses as far as the eye can see. For lunch, Sammy and I both got strawberry basil mojitos (highly recommend) and chips and guac (obvi), and then I ordered a caesar salad with salmon. It was probably one of the most refreshing yet satisfying meals I've ever eaten in my life. To top it off, our waiter (who was donning the prettiest Liberty of London tie) brought us delicious chocolate chip cookies for dessert. And naturally, before leaving, we had to take photos against the pink wall adorned with palms right outside the restaurant. 

If you ever find yourself in the Santa Monica area (right by the pier!), I 10/10 recommend you stop at the Ivy for brunch, lunch or dinner - it's without question my favorite restaurant I've ever been to.
