Here's to 2017!

First of all, you might notice some major changes around here! I've been wanting to give c&s a little facelift for a while, and I'm so happy I finally got around to it while I was in Northern Wisconsin. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Anyway, it's so surreal that it's finally 2017! It feels like forever ago that I was a senior in high school eager to embark on the next chapter, and it's insane to think that here I am, already 1/8th of the way done with college. In the past, I've made lists of resolutions that I was determined to accomplish, but then completely forgot about by February. This year, I thought I would change things up and instead come up with three more general ideas to live by. I think this will be a lot more manageable (and even rewarding to see how far I get!).

+ Find balance
Every year I prioritize finding balance, and this year I am going to make it especially important. If you read this post, then you would know that first semester I found it difficult to juggle everything from academics to club involvement to a social life to exercise. In 2017, I'm going to make it my mission to manage my time and assure that I am able to fit everything into my busy schedule. Working out and sleeping more are going to be especially high on the list!

+ Get involved
With sorority recruitment starting this week (!!!), I can't help but get excited about becoming more involved in different aspects of college life. Being in a sorority will be a great way to kick this off for the year, and I'm thrilled to be able to take on more leadership within my school's retail organization as a social media director.

+ Build friendships
I made such incredible friends first semester and I can't wait to meet even more people in my new classes and after I join a sorority. In addition to new friends, though, I also want to maintain my old ones with people that I've known longer than a few months. Being away from home has made me realize who my true friends are, and even though it's sad I'm not as good of friends with some people anymore, I know that I have amazing friendships with certain people that I never want to lose.

Do you have any resolutions or general goals for the new year?
Also, are you guys interested in seeing posts about sorority recruitment? I think sharing my outfits and experience with you might be fun! Let me know :)
xoxo

  4. Happy 2017 girly! My big goal for 2017 is to commit to all aspects of my life, not just school. Towards the end of last year I was so focused on doing well in school everything else went out the window!
