Friday Fours

Happy happy Friday everyone! I could not be more thrilled to be done with finals and have officially finished my first semester at Indiana University. I'll be doing a first semester reflection early next week, so expect a pretty personal post to come. Until then, here's what I've been up to lately!

::one::
They really don't call it dead week for nothing... The week before finals and then actual exam week were a span of pretty intense days between last projects, papers, tests, and of course finals themselves. I was overjoyed to find a package of lots of flavors of SkinnyPop's popcorn at the front desk a few days ago - my friends and I may or may not have finished every bag except one :) #noshame

Leaving IU for winter break was so sad for multiple reasons. It's my new home and leaving behind all my friends and cozy little dorm for three weeks was really hard. It's also strange knowing that when I come back, I'll have sorority recruitment and a big part of my life will change. And, obviously, I'll have new classes and an entirely new schedule to adjust to. It's bittersweet, but I'm really excited for all the changes to come!
::three::
With all of my preparation for rush, I've been doing a lot of online shopping to find the perfect outfits. Would you guys be interested in a post about what to wear for winter recruitment? Let me know!

::four::
All of that aside, I could not be happier to be home for a while (without homework to worry about!). As much as I crave the hustle and bustle of college life, my mind and body could really use a break. I forgot what it's like to not be tired!

Get ready for lots of new content - I'm finally back in the swing of things (for good)! Aaaand I know I'll be dedicating a lot more time to my blog next semester after making some big changes in my life due to my first semester. More on that next week!

Happy weekend! Best of luck to everyone finishing up finals!
xoxo

  2. Good luck with sorority recruitment next semester! I went through it in August, and it was exhausting but so worth it. I can't wait to see where you end up calling home. Have a good break!
