Friday Fours

Yet again, this week went by in the blink of an eye. I'm so excited because it's Parents Weekend at IU and my mom is coming down for the football game, to do a little shopping and to hang out on campus. I can't wait to show her everything now that I actually know where I'm going and to have dinner with my roomie's family too!

Caroline, our friend Ariana and I had such a blast going out to eat at this cool vegan restaurant called the Owlery last Friday night. It was nice to dress up in a cuter summer outfit for the last time before it gets cooler outside. Definitely recommend eating there if you find yourself in Bloomington anytime soon!

Did you check out my blog post with Daily Harvest on Wednesday? Caroline and I are obsessed with the flavors we've tried so far and are loving being able to whip up a quick, refreshing meal whenever we want. See the post here!

I'm starting to reach the point where I can't just jump out of bed, hit the library and be productive every morning like in the beginning of the year, so I've been trying to get stuff done from bed on the days when I don't have class until 11. It's surprising how much you can actually accomplish when you put away your phone and block social media on your computer!

It's hard to believe that yesterday was the first day of fall when it's been nearly 90 degrees here lately! I would love nothing more than to wear cozy leggings and oversized sweaters to class, but it looks like I'll be wearing Nike shorts and tees for a little bit longer. Thank goodness my mom is bringing some of my fall clothes though - it'll be fun to slowly start transitioning my closet for autumn!
