My College Dorm Haul

For the second day of our college collaboration, I'm beyond excited to finally share my dorm haul with you! I've been waiting to reveal my bedding for so long (since May to be exact) and although it's discontinued, there are a bunch of sets of the different Lilly Pulitzer patterns on eBay. Talking about what I've collected for my dorm has been something I've been looking forward to for months because I love watching other people's dorm hauls, so I've been gathering tons of inspiration for my own room along the way. Now it's finally my turn to put together my own freshman dorm! I used my Lilly Pulitzer First Impressions bedding as the color scheme and built off of it with lots of pinks, whites, light blues and golds. I'm loving how it's turned out and I can't wait to complete the look once I'm all settled in and can get a feel for what else I need. 

I have a few pictures of everything below and also made a video explaining each item in more detail. (It ended up a tad bit blurry which drives me crazy so clearly I'm still trying to figure this Youtube thing out :). A lot of the more boring stuff (ex. laundry hamper, mattress topper, mini steamer) will be waiting for me at the Bed Bath and Beyond in Bloomington so obviously I wasn't able to show that. If you are able to, I highly recommend doing their college registry. You walk around with a price gun (like a bridal registry!!) and scan everything you need. Then everything will be ready to go in boxes for you at the nearest location to your campus so that you can pick everything up there. And the best part? Even if you aren't sure about needing certain items, you can still scan it and aren't required to buy it once you're there for pick up. It's such a smart system and makes a lot of sense if you have one near your college!
