Friday Fours

Another crazy week, another busy weekend ahead! This past week was pretty unusual because our boys and girls hockey teams both made it to state, so everyone had the opportunity to go to their games Thursday and today. Basically, we only had to go to school half of the day yesterday and today. Needless to say, it was a great end to the week! Attending a private school, I've become a huge hockey fan and absolutely love watching the games. Even though the boys lost yesterday, it was still a fun way to support them and conclude the last winter hockey season of high school.

This weekend, I am having a little belated birthday dinner with a bunch of my friends. We are going to a fun restaurant downtown and I can't wait to get all of my buds together from different schools! It's so rare to have all of my favorite people in one place, and I'm so excited to spend time with everyone. Also side note - it's crazy how good these tulips still look after a week!

Remember when I posted this on Tuesday and said how warm it was last weekend? Well I clearly spoke too soon because there was pretty much a blizzard early this week and instead of 60 degrees, it is now 20. How many days until spring break again?!

I made the most delicious lemon ice cubes this week (read the post here!) and highly recommend making them. Lately, I've been really into trying out new recipes and I think I might do some searching on Pinterest this weekend to test out some other ones! Any recommendations for me?

The beginning of the week started off poorly in terms of my productivity level (sometimes watching the Bachelor trumps working on research papers, oops), but I knew I had a lot of work for the weekend, so I cranked out a lot the past few nights to lessen my load. It's insane how much happier I am after getting a good amount of things checked off my to do list!

Happy weekend everyone!
xoxo

  1. You live in Wisconsin right? Then I was my boys hockey team that won (AU)! What a coincidence!
