DIY: Lemon Ice Cubes

Oh. My. Goodness. One of my friends and I came across this citrus ice cube DIY while on Pinterest the other day, and I can't believe I have never come across this until now. As an avid lemon water enthusiast, I love finding new ways to spice up my daily hydration. This recipe is easily customizable with different fruits (imagine a grapefruit version...!) and would be perfect in a glass of water or a pitcher of lemonade or even punch! It's super simple to make and only requires a lemon, water and a muffin pan.

All you do is slice up a lemon in pieces that will fit into each space of the pan. Then, place each slice in a space on the tray and fill the remaining part with water. Pop it in the freezer for an hour or so and carefully remove each of the ice cubes.

You could easily do this recipe with sliced strawberries, raspberries, limes, oranges... the options are endless! It makes drinking water a little more exciting and leaves you with a sweet treat after you drink it all.

I will definitely be making these to pop in my new water bottle for the week!
What do you like to put in your water? Have you ever tried these cubes?
xoxo
