I hope you all had an amazing 4th of July weekend. While mine was more relaxed and a bit different than usual, I had a great time and am getting ready for my New York + Hamptons trip that begins this Thursday! I ate a good amount of ice cream this weekend and while I enjoy it while I'm devouring it, I always feel so gross and guilty after. Soo, when Halo Top ice cream reached out to me and told me about their healthier version of a creamy treat, I knew I had to try it.
Basically, there are only 240 calories per pint and it's a great source of protein. There are a bunch of delicious flavors, but I ended up trying Lemon Cake (obvi) and Vanilla Bean, both of which I loooved. They taste exactly like ice cream but are lighter and less indulgent (if that makes sense!). I was a little apprehensive to try the ice cream since they are a lot better for you than other kinds, but I was pleasantly surprised with how normal and rich they taste!
I definitely recommend trying Halo Top out if you're in the mood for a lighter dessert this summer - sometimes they are hard to find but most Whole Foods carry them!
