Outfit: Black Gem Dress

dress (similar) // heels (similar) // earrings

The annual Sadie Hawkins (aka girls ask guys) dance was last Saturday night and I had such a great night. My date was such a sweetie, my group was too fun and we all had a blast. I decided to go at the last minute, so I didn't have much time to find a dress. Luckily, Fran and I have basically the same wardrobe, so when one of us is in a pinch and needs clothes, we go to the other person and almost always find what we need. Naturally, I fell in love with her 60's inspired black shift dress with gemstones and ended up wearing it! I love how flowy and comfortable it is, not to mention how fun the neckline is. It was pretty late by the time I left for the dinner, so the lighting was not ideal for outfit pictures, so I apologize for such few shots!

And thanks for all of your sweet comments on my blog and Instagram these past few days! You guys are seriously so sweet and make blogging so meaningful for me!

  1. What a fun dress for a dance! And love the exposed brick as your background.

  3. This dress is adorable & so similar to the dress I helped my "little sister" pick out for her Sadie's dance last week!
Every girl needs a perfect little black dress & think you/Fran have found the one :)
