Let's Catch Up

Hello everyone! It feels like so long since I've last talked to you guys (much less written a post) and I'm so excited to finally be back in the swing of things. Finals and the holiday season in general completely screwed both me and my blogging schedule up, so I promise I am back for good starting today! Since I've been MIA for so long, I thought I would do a little post catching up with you about what I've been up to these past few weeks. Since exams completely drained me, I spent the first few days celebrating winter break with friends and relaxing as much as possible. Then, Christmas came and went (seriously... how fast did it fly by?) and I enjoyed spending lots of time with my family chatting, opening presents and, of course, having brunch. It was really fun because this year we were dog sitting our absolute favorite dog (he's practically part ours) over Christmas so naturally, I had to share a picture of him in the red bow he donned for the big day. Also, I've been with my blogger buddy, Frannie, a good amount of my break. Since Fran and I don't get to see each other that often, we've been spending lots of time together blogging, chatting, eating and hitting the gym (since our nights usually end up in food comas). We've come up with lots of fun things to share with you all so stay tuned in the near future! You won't want to miss it. Oh! And you may notice that my pictures will start to look a little nicer because I was so grateful as to receive a new lens for Christmas! One of my goals for 2015 is to really up citrus & style and I thought photography would be the perfect place to start. My new one is the Nikon 50mm and I am absolutely in love with it (and highly recommend it).

I can't wait to be back doing what I love and coming up with new content to share.
If you have any post requests, do comment them below!
What have you done this winter break?
