3 Healthy Lunch Ideas

Even though my school requires us to eat the lunch they provide, I love love love talking about healthy lunch ideas! I definitely wouldn't consider myself a breakfast person, so coming up with yummy meals for lunch and dinner is my absolute favorite. Below are three of my go-to meals for lunch: a larger veggie rice dish with a fruit salad, a romaine salad with grilled chicken and then a lighter yogurt parfait.

This is one of my favorite lunches when you need something big but not heavy to fill you up. The fried rice is actually from Trader Joe's and is the most delicious frozen rice ever. I added a bit of sautéed peppers and carrots on top and then made a fruit salad to have on the side. Feels like comfort food but is pretty nutritious!

This is probably the salad I make the most because it is quick and really fresh. I toss some romaine lettuce, use leftover grilled chicken and then add some peppers, cucumbers and grated parmesan. This salad works best the day after you have chicken for dinner because then the chicken is super flavorful.

Lastly, if you're not in the mood to have a super filling lunch and want something a little less dense, try a yogurt parfait! Simply cut up some fruit of your liking (apples are soo good right now) and throw it on top of your favorite yogurt with a sprinkle or two of granola. A nice source of calcium and super delicious.

What are your go-to healthy lunches? Do share!
xoxo
