First of all, I apologize for how grainy these photos turned out. The lighting was really funky when I photographed this dress before everyone came to my house for homecoming pictures, so I didn't have time to wait for a better time to shoot! Anyway, can we talk about how fabulous this dress is? I wasn't sure where to look for a dress for homecoming, so naturally, I embarked on a mad hunt on Pinterest. Luckily, I found this pretty piece from ASOS and am so happy with it! Not only is the fabric comfy and light, but the detailing (especially the back, you won't believe how perfect it is) is really cute as well. I paired it with simple gold jewelry and my favorite nude heels for a simple but classic look. Luckily, we ended up having great weather (minus a minor thunderstorm a few hours before the dance) so I didn't need a jacket, although I think a distressed denim jacket would add a cool vibe to the ensemble. I had so much fun before, during and after the dance, and am so blessed to have such great friends to have made amazing memories with.
I hope you're all enjoying your school dances if you are still in high school, and be sure to tell me about the dress you're wearing below because I'd love to see!

Such a cute dress! It's pretty chilly up here in New York City, so I think you're spot on about the denim jacket ;)
