Trending: Shirttail Tops

After scouring through countless September issues and fall catalogues, I've come across a new trend that I am obsessed with: the shirttail! Since layering is so in this season, the shirttail is a 2-in-1 top (usually a sweater) that has a different fabric hem at the bottom, giving the look of layers. It's a relaxed yet put together look that is effortless and super chic! (Couldn't you totally see that navy one with skinny jeans and riding boots? #Idie) I'm going to wait for a J.Crew version to go on sale because there is no way I'm spending $128 on a trendy sweater, but see above for a few different options that I'm sure you'll love!

What do you think of the shirttail trend?

  1. I love this trend! It's going to be so perfect for the winter at work because I love the layered look but have to wear a lab coat and hate having lots of layers underneath it!
