I'm stopping in for a quick photo recap of my trip to Door County today. For those of you who don't know, Door County is in Northern Wisconsin (really close to Michigan) and is a really popular vacation spot during the summer and fall. They are known for their delicious cherries (I ate 2 quarts, not even lying) along with the fact that this is probably the closest thing to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket in the Midwest! The homes were absolutely stunning and they had adorable little boutique shopping in Sister Bay and Fish Creek. I hadn't been since I was 6 or 7 so returning to all my favorite restaurants and lake spots was too fun. My brother and I even went parasailing - something I never would have done if the summer wasn't almost over (I was in the YOLO mindset you see...). It was a fabulous little excursion to end the summer before I'm in full school mode these next few weeks and I can't wait to return either in the fall or next summer!
Have you taken any fun trips this summer? Do share below!
