After being so fortunate as to meet and grab gelato with two of my biggest role models Amy Stone and Mackenzie Horan the day before I shot this outfit in NYC, I thought titling this post #NavyorNothing was most fitting ;) Of course, wearing stripes (navy and white, naturally) and tortoiseshell wasn't even a question. I paired this look with my most favorite heels and my go-to tote for a simple yet slightly dressy look in Central Park. Actually, I ended up wearing this to the first day of the Smart Girls Group Summit and must say, it was both comfortable and business casual!
See the links above and tell me your favorite business casual look in the comments below!

Ahhh! I remember shooting this! You look so adorable Carin! I miss you, Fran, and Chlo so, so much! I cant wait till we can all be together again! Also, I'm thinking I may need to invest in one of those tortoise shell necklaces! Talk about "to-die-for!"

I check your blog religiously hahaha. It is my absolute favorite! Great mix of content and fairly consistent posting. You also have a really nice layout. I'm trying to get into the blogosphere, and I didn't realize how frustrating and time consuming it can be to have a blog that has a nice layout and is easy to read. (I'm having trouble making pictures look good in blog posts...mind emailing me some tips/what code you use to make them side by side? Heheh, nice blog. You have convinced me that I need that navy skirt!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your tortoise necklace Caroline! I'm a huge fan of navy and tortoiseshell.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! There is nothing better than navy, stripes and tortoise. It's literally the dream team.
