Friday Fours

Welp, today is my last Friday of summer. Since I should be doing my summer reading instead of blogging #typical, I'm going to keep today's post short and sweet!

:: one ::
Tennis season is in full swing (no pun intended) and I could not be happier to spend lots of time with my favorite team. Even though the season is super short compared to other ones, I'm determined to make the most of it and practice up for state (while donning the monogrammed accessories we are ordering, naturally).

:: two ::
Fran celebrated her Sweet Sixteen last weekend on the rooftop of the cutest restaurant downtown and of course, what party is complete without a shot of our shoes? I've been obsessed with these striped espadrilles ever since they came in the mail and knew I had to wear them for the lunch.

With summer ending means that the warm days at the lake are coming to an end as well. Since I was little, every Sunday my family and I head to my Aunt and Uncle's lakehouse to swim, chat, take boat rides (often referred to as the "booze cruise") and grab dinner and frozen custard at a nearby drive in. It's become my all-time favorite tradition and I look forward to it all week. It makes me so sad to think that next Sunday will be my last day until next Summer!

Lastly, how pretty are these botanical beauties? They totally blend in with the color scheme of our house, not to mention the colors of my blog! I couldn't resist sharing them with you all ;)

With summer quickly coming to a close and everyone heading back to school, I hope you enjoy your last few days or weeks before returning to study mode. Now tell me, what are you doing to end your summer with a bang? I need some ideas!

  1. Great photos! I miss playing tennis. Good luck with your season and school year!

  2. Those espadrilles are to die for! So adorable. Hope you soak up the last few moments of summer!
