My Workspace

You could pretty much say that I live at my desk. From homework to blogging, I knew I needed a nice set up to get things done. When I upgraded to this large white desk in 8th grade, I was completely clueless as to how I was going to style it. It is a pretty big workspace, so I knew it had the potential to be either super chic or super cluttered. After two years I can say that I am happy with how I've rearranged it! I keep most of my little things towards the wall and use the sides for storage (the white boxes). 

My absolute favorite part of the desk is my new Elizabeth Mayville top knot print. It is so pretty and adds a nice pop of color! I've been eyeing all of her prints for quite some time so when Elizabeth sent me one, I kind of died. Isn't it so perfect?! You definitely need one for yourself ;) As for the gold animals (I received a lot of comments about these on social media), I actually bought little animal figurines from Michaels and spray painted them with a metallic gold paint. They are such an inexpensive update and really add a little sophistication, don't you think? Here's a great DIY by my friend Caitlin who made some too.

Underneath there are two shelves on each side and I put some storage boxes from Target to hold stationery, extra pens and notebooks. (I think those need an update because they don't match the color scheme anymore!)
