Lemon Inspiration

So... you are probably wondering why exactly this little blog is called CITRUS & Style. I guess I really haven't given a proper explanation throughout my (over) 400 posts! 

{Here's the reasoning}

Aside from my love of bright citrusy colors like pink, orange and lime green, my favorite scent in the entire world is citrus. Lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits are literally the best things ever. I use citrus flavored things whenever possible. Grapefruit deodorant? Yes please! Lilly Pulitzer Squeeze perfume? Gimme! Lemon squares for dessert? I'll have 8. Besides that, I love the freshness of citrus fruits. I try to incorporate this crispness into my outfits everyday. (You can read more about this in my newly updated About page!)

With that being said, I thought it would be a fun idea to mix my citrus obsession with my love of style (ehem hence the title). Why not take a lemon dessert and use it as inspiration for an outfit? Sounds like a plan to me! ;)

I absolutely love the pieces in this look. If it weren't for the quite expensive prices these items would definitely all be in my closet!!
