My Favorite Little Appliance

Hey friends!

After I saw Caitlin's little green self-serve blender, I knew I had to get my paws on one. I used to make smoothies all the time in our regular blender but it is so so big, no one ever finishes it, and it is a pain in the rear to clean.

Solution? Buying this little guy for only $16.99 at Target. What a deal!

I make one of these almost every day for breakfast/ a snack and take them in the car with me on the way to school. Perfectly safe/ clean for the car ride!

I mean how cute is it?

Here's what I put in my smoothies
(It usually varies on what is in season, etc.)
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Spinach
Baby carrots
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blueberries
Banana

And the best part? You can't even taste the spinach or carrots!

It's important to put the strawberries and orange juice at the bottom so they blend well first. Then, put the spinach and carrots at the top to make sure they aren't overpowering.

Another great thing about it is that the cup doubles as the actual blender and the cup to drink it in! The lid has a little lip to flip open and closed for easy drinking.

Ok ok it looks a teeny bit gross (and bubbly..?) but it tastes like a berry and orange juice smoothie. I promise you you can't taste the spinach or carrots one bit!

Do you use a blender a lot?
Have you tried this one?
