Life Lately

Hello bebes!

This year is just flying by! Can you believe it is April 13 already? Neither can I.

This week I have been sick with a bad cold and sore throat. I had to miss my first lacrosse game and stayed home the whole weekend on the couch. ;(  But I hadn't missed one day this whole school year and although I ended up staying home two days, it felt great to sleep in. Ahhh the joys of being sick. On the other hand, I was super stressed about going back with so much I had missed. Who knew two days gone meant so much to make up? Ugh.

Anyway, here's what I've been up to lately:

I'm in love with my new acylic tumbler from Starbucks. It is much more durable than my Lilly Pulitzer one (that I shattered....) and the straw is much more convenient than having to constantly open a regular bottle. I found it for only $8 at a local Starbucks location!

On my nails I have been sporting Essie's Bikini So Teeny. I was a bit hesitant, as a) I usually stick to my reds and pinks and b) it is very similar to Lapis of Luxury but nonetheless I am so impressed. The color is so striking and "Springy".

Isn't it just the greatest Pick Me Up? I am also loving these fabulous stacking rings I picked up from Forever 21, of all places. And the price is just amazing-- $3.80! Perfect for such a trendy piece.

Lastly, I have been trying to go for runs in preparation for the current LAX season. Do you know how it is when you just know something isn't for you? Yeah, that's the deal with me and running. I have discovered that after many months of trying to get myself to run, I just can't. I think I'll stick to the elliptical and spinning. ;)

What have you been up to lately?

  3. I'm obsessed with my acrylic Starbucks tumbler too! I find I drink so much more water with the straw than with a regular bottle, which can only be a good thing!
